The Future of Finance — Thessaloniki

The venue is the point: a cruise boat, the Klió, docked on the waterfront beside the White Tower. Anodos Labs and Superteam Balkan have taken it for an evening, and the meetup happens on the water.

Why that evening

13 September is the last day of the Thessaloniki International Fair, and this is a side event to it — the organisers pitch it as the after-party that closes TIF week rather than as a standalone meetup. If you are in the city for the fair, the calendar has arranged itself for you.

Who it is for

The listing casts wide on purpose: founders, builders, creators, students, marketers, developers, engineers, “and anyone curious about the future of finance and new emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI”. Read that as an evening for meeting people rather than for learning something specific.

What is actually promised

One free cocktail or drink for everyone on board, live DJ sets, and conversations about finance, startups and the Solana ecosystem. Superteam Balkan uses the evening to explain what it offers a builder in the region — jobs, mentorship, education, grants, ecosystem support.

The two hosts

Anodos Labs is a fintech building what it calls a global financial super app, with a stated mission to make financial services reachable “anywhere, anytime, anyhow”. Superteam Balkan is the regional chapter that connects founders and developers to capital, talent and mentorship in the Solana ecosystem.

What the page does not publish

No speaker list, no schedule for the three hours, and no capacity. The boat is a boat, so the last of those is the one that matters.
