Devcon 8, Mumbai

Devcon is the Ethereum Foundation's yearly conference, in its own words a space to dive into open-source technology and meet the communities behind it. The eighth runs from 3 to 6 November 2026 at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

Why it is on a Solana calendar

Because of the date and the city. Solana Summit India is in Mumbai on Monday 2 November, and Devcon opens the next morning. Whoever flies to India for one has the other a day away, and the people who build on both chains get both rooms in one trip.

What a ticket costs

General admission is $499 paid in ETH or $999 paid by card, 18% GST included. It is sold in waves, each a fixed number of tickets at a fixed price, and the final waves are listed at $599 and $1,199, date to be announced. Every ticket covers all four days, catering all week and swag.

Discounts are claimed or applied for: $149 for residents of India, $25 for Indian students, $49 in ETH or $99 by card for international students, and free entry for Ethereum core developers. General admission tickets are anonymous and transferable; discounted ones are not, and an order holds two tickets at most.

The rest of the week

ETHGlobal Mumbai, the hackathon, runs from 5 to 7 November in the same building, with Pragma Mumbai, ETHGlobal's conference, on the 6th.

The AI side of the week

Inside Devcon, the Agentic Hub runs for all four days: hands-on sessions and live competitions on AI agents, ERC-8004 identity and x402 payments, which also run on Solana. On the evening of the 4th, NEAR's Diyas turns a rooftop into a game in which squads fire a swap intent from NEAR to Solana on-chain.
